PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of charge from a photoreceptor to an original and to enable a good latent image to be obtained even at high temp., by exposing a photoreceptor to a light passing through an original and further, a fiber blade or a thin transparent insulating or the like sheet of medium interposed between the original and the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of medium, such as a fiber blade 2, having a function for transmitting intensity of light incident through each point of the sheet surface in contact with an original with high fidelity to each point on the other side surface opposite to the surface in contact with the original selectively in the direction of sheet thickness is superposed on the original 1, and a copying machine 3 is placed on this blade 2. After charging the face of the photoreceptor 6 with a charger 4, the receptor is sinked and exposed from the back of the photoreceptor 6 to form an electrostatic latent image on the face of the photoreceptor 6, and restored to the initial position to develop it with a toner in a developing device 5. Then, the blade 2 is removed and the machine 3 is moved onto a desirable transfer medium to transfer the toner image. |
