PURPOSE:To improve the heat exchanging efficiency of an air conditioner by an arrangement wherein the primary and secondary air current are exchanged with each other and then allowed to pass repeatedly into each of the layers formed by partition plates. CONSTITUTION:Both partition plates 1 and spacer plates 2 are moulded from aluminium plate and have a heat conductivity and a heat accumulative property. When air current flows from the outdoor to the indoor through the space (a) between the partition plates 1, exhaust current flows from the indoor to the outdoor through the space (b). In this case, most of the sensible heat which flows into the indoor side together with the air current from the outdoor passes through contact portions 3 between the partition plates 1 and the spacer plates 2 and the partition plates 1 themselves and is transferred by heat conduction onto the surface on the side (b). Then, the heat entrains the air current from the indoor to the outdoor so that it may be discharged to the outdoor. Whilst, when the air currents flowing inbetween the layers are exchanged and the flow direction is reversed, the sensible heat that have accumulated in the partition plates 1 and spacer plates 2 facing the space (a) is borne by the exhaust current from the indoor towards the outdoor so that it may be discharged to the outdoor. |
