PURPOSE:To increase the degree of freedom in setting a fuel injection valve, by constructing the fuel injection valve such that the axis of a movable iron core, a valve element and an injection port makes a proper angle to the axis of a fixed iron core having therein an electromagnetic coil and the direction of fuel injection can be changed according to the setting position of the injection valve. CONSTITUTION:A fixed iron core 2 having therein a coil holder 3 is disposed in a valve body 1, and a nozzle holder 6 is fixed to the lower end of the valve body 1 with a proper angle of inclination. A vlave seat 8 and a valve guide 9 superposed on each other are fixed to the central part of the nozzle holder 6, and a valve element 12 is set at a conical valve seat surface 11 of the valve seat 8 in the manner that is can be moved outward and away from the surface 11. The valve element 12 includes a conical surface conforming to the valve seat surface 11, a needle-like portion 12a inserted into an injection port 10 of the valve seat 8 and a sliding part 12b slid in a fuel passage 9a of the valve guide 9, and it is fixed to the lower surface of a movable iron core 14 at its central part. Further, a fuel passage 15 is formed at the central part of the fixed iron core 2, and a return spring 19 held in contact with the movable iron core 14 at its lower end is inserted to the lower part of the fuel passage 15. |
