PURPOSE:To obtain a cold rolled nondirectional electrical steel plate having particularly excellent iron loss and magnetostrictive characteristics by baking tension application type films having good adhesive strength on a nondirectional electrical steel plate. CONSTITUTION:Glass frit powder having a low coff. of thermal expansion of <=12X10<-6>/ deg.C after baking is coated alone on a steel plate which is subjected to finish annealing, or the liquid prepd. by mixing >=10% said powder with conventional coating liquid of phosphate or the like is coated thereon. While 0.1-1kg/cm<2> tension is applied upon the steel plate in this state, the above-described coating liquid is baked at 400-750 deg.C, wherby the intended electric steel plate having improved iron loss and magnetostrictive characteristics is obtained. Such electrical steel plate is produced by casting the molten steel after C, Si, Al, etc. are controlled to prescribed concns. by blowing treatment, then hot rolling the cast steel and subjecting the hot rolled steel after pickling to 1 time of cold rolling, etc. to the final thickness, subjecting the cold rolled steel plate continuously to finish annealing at prescribed temp. and further finishing the same into products with the above-mentioned coating and baking stages. |
