PURPOSE:To achieve highly accurate supercharging control with simple structure by a method wherein a rotary-type timing valve which is opened or closed synchronized with an engine is provided on a auxiliary intake passage at a compression stroke during a high load operation, in an apparatus whose supercharging air is supplied from an auxiliary intake port. CONSTITUTION:A main intake passage 10 is provided with a main throttle valve 11 and fuel injection valve 12 which is located at a upstream side of said throttle valve 11. An auxiliary intake passage 17 is provided a supercharger 18 which is interposed at a upstream side of said throttle valve 11 and said fuel injection valve 12, located on said passage branched from the main intake passage 10. In such a structured intake apparatus, a rotary-type timing valve 32 which is opened or closed synchronized with a crank shaft 6 is provided at a downstream side of a auxiliary throttle valve 23 of the auxiliary intake passage 17. Said valve 32 is provided with a variable mechanism 38 which is able to rotate and adjusts a sleeve 37, accordingly, the sleeve 37 is controlled for its valve opening timing for a opening 35a of the rotary valve 35 which rotates synchronized with the crank shaft 6 in coincidence with a opening 37a of the sleeve 37. |
