<p>The auxiliary bolt is for the additional securing of a movable closing member in a frame, e.g. a door or window, the member having a main lock with bolt, while the auxiliary bolt is moved by an actuator between a working position engaging with the member and a rest one clear of it, and works in bearings in the frame. The actuator can be engaged by the main bolt. The auxiliary bolt and the actuator can be spaced apart, with a transmission rod between them. The design provides maximum security for a house-owner etc. since the door can be fully locked easily even when only leaving the building for a short time.</p> |
