PURPOSE:To raise the heating efficiency of a cooking apparatus, by providing a lamp for illuminating an induction heating means at a lower position of an oven means, and interlocking the lamp with a power switch of the induction heating means so that the lamp is lighted only when the induction heating means is in operation. CONSTITUTION:An oven means 5 is provided above an induction heating means 4, and a lamp 13 for illuminating the induction heating means 4 is fixed at a lower position of the oven means 5. The lamp 13 is interlocked with a power switch for the induction heating means 4 so that it is lighted only when the means 4 is in operation. With such an arrangement, the cooking conditions and also the position of a cooking pan on the induction heating means 4 can be shown clearly, so that the heating efficiency of the cooking apparatus can be raised. Further, since ON-OFF switching of the lamp 13 is rendered unnecessary, the apparatus can be used economically by eliminating useless lighting of the lamp 13. |
