PURPOSE:To construct a structure under water without escape of a hydraulic substance into water by a method in which an ion-exchangeable reactive substance is added to a mixture containing a hydraulic substance and the hydraulic composition thus obtained is placed into water. CONSTITUTION:Water, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and additives are added to a hydraulic substance, e.g, ordinary Portland cement, etc., to form a mixture. Then the mixture is mixed with 10-45wt% an ion-exchangeable reactive substance, e.g., N-bentonite, etc. and then placed through a tremie tube into a form under water to construct a structure under water. The ion exchangeable reactive substance used is capable of causing ion exchange reactions with ions (Ca<2+>, Al<3+>) formed in hydrated state of the hydraulic substance and also of promoting the coagulation of the hydraulic substance, so that the escape of the hydraulic substance into water can be prevented. |
