<p>The drum-type sieve is for sand, compost, cement, gravel, powder etc. being of rigid gauze (I) supported on wheel rims (II) at the end, typically as used on a motorcycle. The rims run on guide wheels (III), typically as used on a child's bicycle, and the sieve is rotated slowly by an electric motor (VI) as used in a washing machine, and which is coupled to it by a vee belt (VIII). A plate is mounted inside the drum to prevent the contents falling onto the motor, and there is a filling funnel (IX) to prevent damage to the gauze.
