<p>The method is for opening a tin (11) with a turned over lid (12), having a lower edge (13). Using a tool (10), the central part (17) can be removed after perforating the lid (12) in its centre. The tool grips under the centre part (17) to pull on it. Pressure is applied on the lid edge (19) to perforate it. After this, the tool is tilted towards the edge. The tool has a perforating point (22) which acts outside the central part (17) and also on its inside. Tilting the tool is followed by pressure to cut the lid.</p> |
