In an arrangement for filling powdery material, e.g. toner, from a container (10) into a feed reservoir (32), e.g. of a non-mechanical printer or copier, the container (10) is sealed by means of at least one (preferably two) spring-loaded rotary valves (18) and the filling shaft (34) of the feed reservoir (32) is provided with a pin (38). In order to prevent pollution of the environment during the filling of the powdery material, the container (10) is inserted (e.g. screwed) into the filling shaft (34) in dust-free manner, which causes the pin (38) to press against the rotary valves (18) and causes them to pivot outwards. The content of the container (10) can now pass into the feed reservoir (32) without powdery material penetrating to the exterior. When the container (10) is removed from the feed container (32), the rotary valves (18) again close under the influence of the springs to reseal the container (10). <IMAGE> |
