PURPOSE:To enable to shorten the adjustable delay time for the light emitting timing of a timing light used for detecting the ignition timing of an engine of an ATDC vehicle (a vehicle designed to ignite an engine after passing the top dead point) or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a reference signal (a) for a first cylinder and an ignition coil signal (b) are afforded to respective input terminals 7, 8 of a circuit 9 for forming individual signals for each cylinder, the circuit 9 produces a particular signal (c) for each cylinder in response to signals from a cylinder designating circuit 10. Thereupon, an AND-circuit 13 afforded with the signal (c) rises with rise of a signal (d) supplied from a timer circuit 11 and produces a gate pulse signal (e) from the signal (c) and the pulse signal (d) inverted by an inverter 12. Then, the signal (e) is formed into clock signals (g), (h) respectively in AND- circuits 15, 16 while feeding a clock signal (f) to the circuits 15, 16, and a timing light is illuminated by a blow signal (i) that is produced by processing the clock signals (g), (h) at an up-down counter 18. |
