In parent patent, an aerosol generator for diffusing a disinfectant etc. into the atmos. The generator comprises a tank contg. prod. to be diffused, an electric motor to drive centrifuge plates and a suction cone. The tank has a central, vertical sleeve rising from an aperture in its base. An electric motor below the tank has its vertical shaft extending up through the sleeve. In this addn., the motor housing is separate from the tank wall. Between the base of the tank and the top of the motor housing the shaft is fitted with an annular, coaxial plate to serve as a flinger flange. The separation of motor housing and tank wall reduces heat transfer between the two to a negligible amount. |
