<p>PURPOSE:To improve an accuracy of sheet gauge of a material to be rolled, by calculating a sheet gauge deviation and an actual deformation resistance at the exit side from a sheet gauge deviation and a rolling load deviation, etc. at the inlet side, in a stand locating on the upstream side, and controlling a stand locating on the downstream side by adding said calculated results. CONSTITUTION:In a cold tandem mill, the target sheet gauges at the inlet and exit sides of each stand, and a standard deformation resistance of a material to be rolled are set respectively. Next, a sheet gauge deviation at the inlet side is calculated by detecting the sheet gauge at the inlet side of a stand location on the upstream side, and then, a roll gap is correctingly set so as to obtain the target sheet gauge at the exit side. In this rolling, a rolling load is detected, and a rolling load deviation with respect to a standard rolling load is calculated, and futrther, an exit-side-sheet-gauge deviation between the exit-side sheet gauge and the exist-side-target sheet gauge is calculated from said load deviation and a correcting quantity of roll gap, etc. Next, an actual deformation resistance is calculated basing on said inlet-side-sheet-gauge deviation, rolling load deviation, and exit-side-gauge deviation, and then, a roll gap of a stand locating on the downstream side is controlled by the feed-forward system basing on said exit side sheet gauge deviation and actual deformation resistance, etc.</p> |
