PURPOSE:To positively cut a lead wire at the roots of pins by a method wherein mechanical stress is added to winding terminals at the terminal pins of the lead wire to provide the winding terminal with fatigue. CONSTITUTION:A lead wire E wound on pins B, C is inserted in the place positioned between a holding piece 8 and a holding lever 12 and is further inserted in the part positioned between pins 17a, 17b thicker than the pins B, C. Next, the lead wire E is pressed and fixed between plates 11 and 16, and after contacting the lead wire E with the pins 17a, 17b, the operation of a pusher 14b is stopped to hold tension with a compressed spring 15b so that the lead wire E may not be loosened. Slide movement is given to a slide block 4 under this state to use the pins B, C as fulcrums, and local fatigue is generated at the lead wire E at the roots of the pins B, C by providing the lead wire E with circular movement. Then, the whole unit is retreated to cut the lead wire E at the roots of the pins B, C. This can positively cut the lead wire at the roots of the pins. |
