Gold lacquer, its use and film coated therewith

Gold lacquer containing organic binders, dyes and/or colour pigments, lustre pigments and solvents and, if desired, additives customary in industrial coatings, the lustre pigments being interference pigments consisting of mica platelets coated with titanium dioxide, the organic binders being water-soluble or water-thinnable and the solvent comprising 70 to 100% by weight of water. The invention also relates to the use of the gold lacquer for the coating of film and coated film (foil) thus obtained.
