PURPOSE:To contrive the weight to be smaller and to reduce loss by a method wherein a single-phase four-leg iron core is used, and exciting windings and tap windings are wound on two legs of the iron core respectively, and both exciting windings are connected in parallel and both tap windings are connected in series. CONSTITUTION:An iron core is composed of a single-phase four-leg iron core consisting of two main legs 11, 12 and two side legs 13, 14 and a yoke 15. An exciting winding 21 and a tap winding 31 are wound in concentric shape from inside on the main leg 11. In the same way, an exciting winding 22 and a tap winding 32 are wound from the inside on the other main leg 12. The exciting windings 21, 22 are connected in parallel, meanwhile, the tap windings 31, 32 are connected in series to compose the whole tap winding. Therefore large sized tap winding can be prevented. Furthermore, stray loss by winding leakage magnetic flux can be reduced as side legs are provided in addition to the main legs. Therefore, this can contrive the weight to be smaller and reduce loss. |
