PURPOSE:To utilize the margin of recording paper effectively by mounting a means printing-outputting an arbitrary overlay pattern to a recording paper section until the position of the printing completion of job output to recording paper reaches the position of cutting. CONSTITUTION:An overlay pattern command 7 and the program 8 of the order of the execution of the overlay pattern command are memorized previously to the memory of a floppy disk device 3 by a CPU2. When user job inputted to the non-impact type line printer (NLP) 1 as a user job command 6 from the CPU2 is completed and the stop command of the NLP1 is outputted, the predetermined overlay command 7 is called and executed according to the program 8 by an overlay command interface 4. Accordingly, the printing pattern is outputted to the margin of recording paper until said user job output reaches the position of cutting during job. |
