PURPOSE:To bulge a wire net without displacing the wire of the wire net by using a rubber-like elastic body covered with a baggy rubber-like elastic film to bulge a drawn cylindrical wire net in a metallic mold. CONSTITUTION:The drawn cylindrical wire net 2 is set up on an opening port of an upper metallic mold 11, a pressing rod 19 to hold the rubber-like elastic body 16 on its lower end is inserted into the wire net 2 and then the wire net 2 is inserted and depressed into the metallic molds 11, 12. Consequently the rubber- like elastic body 16 is compressed and expanded in the radius direction and the wire net 2 is bulged to a shape along the circularly curved surface in the metallic molds 11, 12. After completing the bulging, the pressing rod 19 is raised, the rubber-like elastic body 16 and the rubber-like elastic film 15 are restored to the original shapes respectively and separated from the metallic mold 10. Subsequently the metallic molds 11, 12 are divided into upper and lower parts and the completed product is taken out. Although sliding action is generated on the contact surface between the rubber-like elastic body 16 and the rubber-like elastic film 15, said action is not generated on the contact surface between the rubber-like elastic film 15 and the wire net 2, preventing the wire of the wire net 2, preventing the wire of the wire net 2 from being displaced. |
