A device for the controllable blocking and releasing of a switching threshold, which can be biased in the switching-on and switching-off direction via a force store, of a load interrupter is described, in which the latching and releasing devices are arranged in the region of both vertical side supports of the switch frame, and are constructed in the form of cam-latching units.
