Sheet-like structure of interbonded layers, bars of a stable material and, parallel to the latter, strips of a separating material being adhesively attached alternately by their narrow side in each case to a front layer of veneer wood or plastic at right angles to the said layer, and the sheet-like structure of lamellar form thus obtained having on the rear side recesses into which fastening devices with holding rails and flanges can be inserted in such a way that the sheet-like structure can then only be displaced in relation to the fastening devices along the axis of the recesses.
