An arrangement which according to the invention is particularly simple in design but furthermore very effective even at low-speed operation in high-power drives is one in which an oil collector (3) which partially encloses the drive pinion (1) projects into the wheel case (4) in the region below the pinion (1) and in whose oil filler the pinion (1) dips with some of its teeth during starting.
