摘要 PURPOSE:To supply proper amts. of molten metal in casting molds in a specified time without adjusting timer relays with respect to a change in the rate of tapping by adjusting the next tilting speed of a ladle in such a way as to keep the time between the time when tapping is detected and the time when the riser metal of the molds is detected within the set time. CONSTITUTION:When a large amt. of molten metal is put into a ladle 32 and is tapped therefrom by moving a hydraulic cylinder 44 downward first and tilting tapping ports 34, 35 downward, a sensor S1 detects the same. Then, a timer relay (TR) operates to stop the tilting of the ladle after a set time T1 and to continue the set time T2 as it is. In the normal time, a sensor S2 detects the rise of the molten metal up to the opening in the riser 56 of a casting mold 12 prior to the terminating of the time T2 and resets the ladle to stop the tapping. When there is no detection of the sensor S2 even after the completion of the time T2, the TR resets the ladle. The time T1+T2=T4 and the difference T5 between the detecting times of the sensors S1 and S2 are compared, and the case at T4<T5 signifies a decrease in charging efficiency. In such a case, the ladle is reset at the end of the time T4, and the tilting speed is increased by adjusting the degree of throttling of a throttle valve 84 prior to the next tilting of the ladle.
