PURPOSE:To suppress the uncomfortable feeling given to passengers during rapid acceleration etc. by connecting a stabilizer fitted to a driving wheel suspension of a front wheel or rear wheel drive type to a car body in the center of a car width at an offset position in the longitudinal direction of the car. CONSTITUTION:When a rapid drive force is applied to a driving rear wheel 14 due to rapid acceleration, etc. and the load is moved and an angular moment M around an arm pivot 12 is generated on a suspension arm 11, a stabilizer 16 is also oscillated together with the suspension arm 11. On the other hand, this oscillation is transmitted to a shock absorber 18 through an arm 17 and is quickly damped, thereby the pitching generated by a car body 21 is suppressed to the extent that passengers realize no uncomfortable feeling. In addition, since the arm 17 is fitted at the center of the stabilizer 16, even if left and right wheels are moved up and down in different phases, the stabilizer 16 is not affected at all by the arm 17 and the absorber 18. |
