摘要 PURPOSE:To measure exactly the number of broken grains of rice and the ratio of broken grains, by irradiating the grains of rice introduced into a transparent part from a light source and photodetecting the amount of transmitted light of the light when both front and rear biased parts of rice grains are passed. CONSTITUTION:The signal of a photodetector 8 is amplified by an amplifier 18 of a circuit 16 detecting the broken grains and is inputted into a differentiating circuit 19 and a signal of each unhulled rice grain is differentiated at the circuit 19, respectively, and a waveform or voltage changed amount is take out and its signal is inputted into storing circuits 20, 21 for analog and a comparator 22 of a detector for the number of grains 17 respectively, and a signal of the value at the state that rice grains do not exist, from a setting device 31 is inputted and is compared at the comparator 22, and sample unhulled grains are detected and its signal is inputted into a timing circuit 32 and a logical operation circuit 30, respectively. A signal inputted in the circuit 30 counts the number of grains of the sample unhulled grains by a counting circuit 36 and displays the total number of grains on a display 40.
