PURPOSE:To improve the transverse rigidity and stability without increasing weight and deteriorating durability by making the first and third carcass layers intersect at a predetermined angle in the peripheral direction and by placing the second carcass layer at 90 deg. to the peripheral direction with its end section arranged between a bead core and a rim flange height. CONSTITUTION:The first carcass layer 1 and the third carcass layer 3 intersect with each other at a range of 75 deg.-85 deg. to the peripheral direction of a tire and their end sections are arranged by being folded back around a bead core 8 from the tire inner face toward the outer face. On the other hand, a carcass layer 2 placed between the carcass layers 1, 3 is arranged essentially at 90 deg. to the peripheral direction of the tire and its end section terminates halfway without being folded back around the bead core 8. The end section is located between the bead core 8 and the height FH of the rim flange 9. |
