The stake holder has a first screw clamp (1), by means of which a first rail member (20) of a rail (2) can be clamped securely on a container edge (4), the second rail member (21) of the rail (2) then extending over the container. A stake (5) is clamped securely on the second rail member (21) by means of a second similar screw clamp (3). The rail members (20, 21) engage through an opening (12) in both screw clamps (1, 2). The position of the stake (5) on the rail (2) can be adapted to the requirements by loosening the second screw clamp (3). <IMAGE>
