Stick for games, in particular ice hockey stick, and method of producing the latter

A stick for games, in particular an ice hockey stick, comprises a handle and a scoop which is connected thereto via an intermediate part. The handle comprises a shell of hot-curing resin material which is provided by means of a reinforcement material in the form of a roving extending essentially in the longitudinal direction of the handle. The roving extends from the handle through the intermediate part into the scoop, in which it forms at least part of the reinforcement material of the scoop which likewise consists of hot-curing resin. The roving extending in the longitudinal direction can be surrounded by a covering layer which is formed by wound threads or rovings. In a method of producing the sports stick, a roving of reinforcement material is applied essentially in the longitudinal direction of the handle to a core which has essentially the same length as the stick handle, an end part of the roving extending beyond the core at one end thereof and being connected to a reinforcement material for the stick scoop. The reinforcement material is embedded in hot-curing plastic material.
