PURPOSE:To improve a controlling accuracy of biting temperature, and to improve an accuracy of sheet gauge control, by arranging two thermometers directly behind a front rolling mill, and controlling the bitting temperature at a rear mill by using the average temperature between them. CONSTITUTION:The surface temperature of a material 4 to be rolled is detected by two thermometers 3a and 3b arranged at the place directly behind the exit side of a front rolling mill. The average temperature at the place just below the thermometer 3a is calculate by an average temperature operator 9 basing on the detected temperature value, the sheet gauge transmitted from a host computer 8, and the number of revolutions of a mill motor 6. The average temperature is outputted to a biting temperature operator 10, to calculate the biting temperature at a rear mill 2 basing on said value, the number of revolutions of a motor 7 of a transferring table, and an information of transferring speed transmitted from the computer 8. The calculated value is compared with a target temperature by a delay-time operator 11, and its difference is outputted to a transfer- table controlling device 12. Thus, the material 4 is oscillated on a transferring table 5 by controlling the motor 7 in order to control the temperature of biting at the rear mill 2. |
