<p>A clamp for clamping three strands of continuously cast metal, the three strands lying in a common plane, there being a pair of outer, hydraulic rams adapted to squeeze the strands together, a fixed clamping member between one pair of the strands and a pivotable clamping member between the other pair so that the ram can compress the three strands towards one another for clamping purposes, particularly useful for clamping three continuously cast strands prior to cutting them with a flying saw.</p> |
