The invention relates to a two-for-one spindle having a drivable hollow spindle, to which is attached a co-rotating disc serving as a basic rotor for yarn-guide elements attached to it, so that the two-for-one spindle can be adapted in a simple way to the respective prevailing operating conditions by means of an exchange of the yarn-guide elements, the remaining parts being retained.
