The invention relates to a two-piece connecting means, consisting of a bolt having a nut for the interconnection of two or more parts, and is characterised by the special construction of the nut. The nut is closed on one side and, on its closed end, has a flat collar which overhangs on the outside. The remaining part of the nut is of cylindrical construction and is provided with outwardly projecting ribs so that this nut can be knocked into a pre-drilled hole, which is located for example in a wooden casing panel, as a result of which said nut is provided with a firm seat.
