PURPOSE:To easily apply rectangular armoring to a cable by rolling round wire into rectangular wire by rolling devices forcedly driven at positions close to the twisting port of an armoring machine and simultaneously applying rectangular armoring to the periphery of the cable. CONSTITUTION:The cable 1 is pulled out from a sending drum 5 of the armoring machine, each round wire 2 is rolled into a prescribed rectangular wire 3 by a rectangular rolling device 6 circularly attached to a place, e.g. a collecting board 4, close to a twisting port to armor the cable 1 and the armored cable 1 is wound around a winding drum 9 through a pulling machine 8. Forced driving system is applied to the rolling device 6. Thus it is unnecessary to rewind the rectangular wire to an exclusive bobbin. |
