A fitted hob (1) or sink for fitted kitchen furniture is recessed in the cutout (19) of a worktop (6) of the kitchen furniture in such a way that said sink is in alignment with the worktop (6). For the purpose of aligning the height of the fitted hob (1), the latter is placed on eccentrically constructed support pieces (9) which are provided with radial bores (11) for inserting an adjusting pin.
