PURPOSE:The titled water-soluble lubricant excellent in a tool life and finishing accuracy, and enabling of continuous centralized supply, which comprises an ethylene oxide/propylene oxide additive with an aliph. alchol, etc., polyethylene glycol, a rust preventive and water. CONSTITUTION:2-55wt% ethylene oxide/propylene oxide additive with a 12- 18C aliph; alcohol such lauryl alcohol (or 12-18C aliph. amide such as laurylamide, or glycerol) of MW about 1,000-10,000, 5-60wt% polyethylene glycol of MW about 1,000-25,000, 2-40wt% rust preventive such as diethanolamine oleate and the balance of water are mixed. The obtd. water-soluble lubricant is used after diluted with water about 5--40-fold in the case of automatic oiling, or it may be used with addition of a pasting agent such as polyoxyethylenepolypropylene glycol in other cases. |
