A printing apparatus is disclosed which includes a rotatably driven turret (60) carrying one or more collectors (C) at selected radial and angular positions, and transfer means (75) synchronously driven with the turret (60) for depositing on each of the collectors (C) a design configuration. The turret (60) and each of the transfer means (75) share a common point of rotation along respective central axes thereof.
