PURPOSE:To fix a superconducting wire in a small space without bending it and to fix the superconducting wire with an initial tension applied to it by bonding a winding start end of the superconducting wire and its winding finish end to a metallic block buried in an insulating end plate which is adjacent to a winding frame flange by soldering or silver brazing. CONSTITUTION:A metallic block 16 having a slit 16a is buried in an insulating end plate 15 of a coil winding frame and it is fixed so that an end plane 16b of the metallic block 16 might not project to a coil side from a plane of the insulating end plate 15. In the metallic block 16, a direction for leading out a superconducting wire 13 and a longitudinal direction of the slit 16a are in accordance and furthermore, the insulating end plate 15 is provided with a through-hole for inserting the superconducting wire 13. When winding the superconducting wire 13 on such winding frame, a winding start end 13a is inserted into the slit 16a of the metallic block 16 and is bonded and fixed by soldering or silver brazing before the coil winding operation. A winding finish end 13b is also fixed by the similar operation and at that time, it is carried out while applying a predetermined tension to the superconducting wire 13. |
