发明名称 METHOD FOR IMPROVING TASTE OF REISHI EXTRACT
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the bitter taste of the extract of REISHI (Gonoderma lucidum), and improve its taste, by mixing he REISHI extract with gamma-cyclodextrin. CONSTITUTION:A REISHI product which is safe and agreeable to drink and has the unique character of the REISHI is prepared easily by dissolving gamma-cyclodextrin in a REISHI extract and drying and pulverizing the mixed solution. The amount of gamma-cyclodextrin is 5-200wt% of the solid content of the extract. As an alternative method, the product can be obtained by mixing a REISHI extract (powder) uniformly with gamma-cyclodextrin. The product may be incoroporated with arbitrary health food materials, seasonings, vitamins, inoragnic nutrient salts, etc. to an extent that the bitter taste removing effect of gamma-cyclodextrin is not inhibited thereby.
