PURPOSE:To spread a usable range of mud and prevent a leak in a fixed amount feeder of mud to a pressurized vessel, by filling a mud state material between a pair of plungers kept at a certain distance to transfer the material to a supply hole and flushing to supply the material into the vessel. CONSTITUTION:Mud in a storage part 3 is charged between point ends 10a, 11a of plungers 10, 11 maintained at a prescribed distance in the position of a supply hole 2. Then the plungers 10, 11 are moved under a condition this distance is maintained till the distance 10a-11a comes to the position of a supply hole 4. And then valves 6, 8 are opened to feed mud into a supply pipe 9 by a medium of flushing fluid from a flush hole 4. Finally the valves 6, 8 are closed, and the ends 10a, 11a of the plungers 10, 11 are adapted, returned to the hole 2 and opened to repeat operation. In this way, an applicable range of mud is spread, and a leak due to wearing and corrosion can be prevented. |
