PURPOSE:To facilitate the work by making a cover for a rotary type pallet exchanger slidable and movable against the exchanger body thereby shrinking the effective area of a fixed base. CONSTITUTION:When providing a cover 11 for preventing the dispersion of chips to the side face of a fixed base 10 of a rotary type pallet exchanger, a planar lnk 12 is hinged to the lower face of the bottom face 11a of the cover 11 such that one end is hinged to the base 10 while the other end is hinged to the front face 11b of the cover. An operational window 15 is provided in the cover front face 11 and when pushing the cover body 11 at the completion of the exchange of the pallet, the cover will slide on the fixed base 10 to be shrinked and contained on said base to enable the access of the worker to the pellet through the operational window. |
