PURPOSE:To enable to early start a power converter by providing a switch which interrupts the influence of a phase error signal to a phase synchronizing signal in response to the lost voltage of an AC power source. CONSTITUTION:Resistors 321, 322, a condenser 323 and an operational amplifier 324 are composed in a power converter, and a switch 325 is further connected in parallel with the condenser 323. This switch 325 closes when an AC power failure signal ACERR becomes ON, and opens when the signal becomes OFF. When the AC power source voltage is failed, the switch 325 is closed upon reception of the signal ACERR being ON, thereby discharging the charge of the condenser 323 and preventing the amplifier 324 from saturating. Accordingly, when the AC power source voltage is recovered, the switch 325 is opened upon receiving of the signal ACERR being OFF, thereby resetting to the state synchronized with the AC power source voltage. |
