PURPOSE:To obliquely move a slip toward a reference surface and true up the slip on the surface through a simple construction, by providing a conical conveyance roller on a rotay shaft perpendicular to the direction of conveyance of the slip. CONSTITUTION:A guide shaft 21 is provided so that is extends perpendicularly to the direction C of conveyance through a passage defined by upper guide plates 26a and lower guide plates 26b. A conical conveyance roll 22, the outside diameter of which decreases away from a reference surface 24a, is mounted on the guide shaft 21. Because of the oblique peripheral surface of the conical roll 22, a slip 25 receives a force oriented as shown by an arrow A, so that the slip passing on the roll is obliquely moved toward the reference surface 24a as shown by an arrow B. After the slip 25 has passed the roll 22, the slip is conveyed on the reference surface 24a as shown by a one-dot chain 25'. |
