PURPOSE:To increase aperture to a G signal filter equivalently and thus reduce folded distortion, and to suppress color mixture between R and B due to an error in sticking, by arranging G filter stripes which allows only green light to pass between R filter stripes and B filter stripes in such a way that they overlap with two photodetction picture elements. CONSTITUTION:The width of G filter stripes G is equal to P, the width of another G filter stripes G' is 12P, and the windths of R filter stripes R and B filter stripes B are 3/4P. Then, they are arrayed for photodetection picture elements and stuck to a solid-state image pickup element in such position relation that the overall width of the B filter stripes B and the half width of another G filter stripes G' are within one photodetection picture element, the overall width of the R filter stripes R and the half width of another G filter stripes G' are within one photodetection picture element, and the overall width of the G filter stripes G is within one photodetction picture element. |
