PURPOSE:To facilitate the recovery of blanks after sorting in a sorter movong along multistage tray to sort sequentially blanks by retreating the tray selectively from the sorting position. CONSTITUTION:In sorting a few blanks 4, unused trays 3 are retreated by energizing the corresponding solenoids 12. Then a horizontal shaft 6 is moved in the direction a and a projecting pin 8 is moved in along groove 7b in a pivotal lever 7 to pivot a pivotal lever 7. The lower side end of the tray 3 is pressed down by a pin 9 and the higher end side is sprung up about the horizontal shaft 6 and retreated backward from a sorting position. Thus, since blanks 4 are sorted by the necessary minimum trays, the recovery of the blanks after sorting is facilitated. |
