PURPOSE:To shear a material carried with a high speed while economizing in energy by utilizing the start and stop of the rotation of a drum. CONSTITUTION:Flywheel energy stored by an AC motor is transmitted by a clutch and thereby a DC motor is also started simultaneously, allowing acceleration to be rapidly generated by accelerating torque of both of them. Accordingly, high speed shearing considered impossible up to now, particularly the dividing shearing by 700-800m/mm. after the finish rolling mill of a hot strip rolling equipment is made possible. Since the clutch is disengaged after the completion of a constant speed, the GD<2> in an AC motor system is removed, namely, energy is not utilized for useless acceleration of GD<2>, thus enabling energy to be economized. |
