PURPOSE:In a clamping device for positioning a work table of such as a transfer machine, to operate through single driving source by operating a clamp rod and a positioning rod by a drive shaft penetrating through a station. CONSTITUTION:Upon transfer of a work table 2 to predetermined position on a positioning table 1 at each station, a drive shaft 5 will rotate to lift a positioning rod 4 through gears 14, 15 thus to insert the rod 4 into a hole 16 in the table 2. Since the driving force for a wedge 10 and the lifting force of the clamp rod 3 will eliminate, the wedge 10 is pushed by a spring 11 to push down a roller 12 thereby the clamp rod 3 will clamp the work table 2 at the fixed position with its enlarged head 3A. |
