PURPOSE:To provide a quality inspecting method and device which detects and counts a foreign matter and fisheye in a film, by a method wherein a film, passing through a cooling band, is caused to continuously run through a gas laser photo scanning system detector. CONSTITUTION:After a vinyl chloride resin to be inspected is compounded beforehand, it is fed to an extruder 1 and is continuously extrusion-molded into a film. After a film 7 so extruded is cooled by a cooling roll 2, it is caused to run to a gas laser photo scanning system detector 4 through a pulse oscillating roll 3, a foreign matter and fisheye in the film 7 are classified and continuously detected and counted, and is rolled by a winding roll 6 through a roll 5. In a scanning laser light, gas laser of not more than lambda1,000nm and with an output of not higher than 10mW is used so that the film 7 is prevented from absorption of light, heat-generating, and the production of a chemical change. Additionally, in order to identify and detect the foreign matter and fisheye, a half mirror is used, and the pulse oscillating roll 3 is used so as to adjust two collectors and a time lag. |
