PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet recorder having a simplified electrode constitution with lesser mutual induction and a high relative position accuracy between each electrode and a nozzle by making up a charge electrode by providing parallel flat-plate electrodes to a common insulating plate. CONSTITUTION:Ink in the ink chamber 12 of a head body 11 is jetted in the form of an ink column from a nozzle 13, cut into ink droplets 15, and flown toward a recording paper and a gutter. Charge electrodes 16 are provided in parallel flat-plate form near the place where the ink column 14 is cut into ink droplets 15. The ink droplets charged by the charge electrodes 16 are deflected by a deflection electrode 17 and printed on a recording paper 19. The plural electrodes 16 are provided to a common insulating plate 20 such a way that the distance between the nozzle and the electrode can be shortened and the mutual induction between the adjacent ones can be lessened. |
