PURPOSE:To uniformly red-heat an inner and an outer flame cylinders, and to obtain long and white-yellow flames, by designing flame cylinders so that the draft power, passing through the gap between the outer flame cylinder and a diathermanous casing cylinder, is stronger than that passing through the gap between the inner and the outer flame cylinders. CONSTITUTION:The height of the upper edge of an inner flame cylinder 1 is designed so as to be lower than the fitting position of the cover plate 6 of an outer flame cylinder 2, provided to the upper edge of an outer flame cylinder 2. The inside edge of the cover plate 6 of an outer flame cylinder 2 is located in the position above the top edge of an inner flame cylinder 1, while the top of the gap between the outer flame cylinder 2 and a diathermanous casing cylinder 3 is closed by contacting the outside edge of the cover plate 6 with the diathermanous casing cylinder 3. The total open area of breather pores 2' in the upper part of an outer flame cylinder 2 is designed to be larger than that in the other part thereof. With such an arrangement, the draft power passing through the gap between the inner and the outer cylinders 1 and 2 is not able to become stronger than that flowing along the outer side of an outer flame cylinder 2. As a result, the lower parts of an inner and an outer flame cylinders 1 and 2 are both uniformly red-heated, and long and white-yellow flames can be obtained from the under part of a flame spreader part 5 which is positioned on the top of both flame cylinders. |
