PURPOSE:To open and close a shutter plate which covers a head and an index window provided to a hard case automatically, by providing a pawl to a hard case holder for opening the shutter plate. CONSTITUTION:The hard case 3 is equipped in the hard case holder 20 incorporated in a floppy disk driving device. The holder 20 when the hard case 3 is loaded is hooked by a slider pawl 10, and a holder pawl 21 for opening the head window 5 and index window 6 is provided. The holder 20 moves through a sleeve 24 which rotates in the cut part 25a of a holder guide plate 25 fixed threadedly to the chassis of the floppy disk driving device and a holder pin 23 fixed to the holder 20. The holder 20 has a holder projection where one end of a tension spring 26 is hooked, and the other end of the tension spring 26 is fixed to the chassis of a compact floppy disk driving device; the tensile force FO of the spring 26 is divided into a horizontal component FE and a vertical component FV. |
